Care your feet in the rainy season is very important. We all love the rains, but if there’s something most women really dread, it is the thought having to walk through all that water and muck. Unfortunately, there is no alternative to this. And with toenail fungal infections being a common happening in this season, the only solution is to clean your feet carefully at least thrice a week. No you do not need to visit a parlor and spend hours on it, all you need is a few minutes and the comfort of your bathroom

Tips to clean your feet beautifully:

  • Fill a wash basin with warm water.
  • Add a few drops of shampoo and an antiseptic solution to it.
  • Now soak your feet in water for 10 minutes at least so as to soften the dirt that may be lodged, especially in the nail groove.
  • Use a nail brush or an old tooth brush gently to clean your toenails. Pay attention to the nail border as those are the tough spots.
  • Use a foot scrubber for the heels and the soles of the feet.
  • Don’t rub forcefully as you may end up bruising yourself.
  • If your toenails have grown too long, clip them off.
  • In the monsoons it is best to keep your toenails short to prevent dirt from accumulating on the inside.
  • Gently pat your feet dry.
  • Apply a generous portion of moisturizer to your feet and massage them.
  • This will also work to improve the blood circulation
