New Delhi, Nov 11: The Oppositions demand for the sacking of A Raja from the post of Telecom Minister got louder and shriller today, as both Houses of Parliament were adjourned till noon after uproar over certain remarks by a former RSS chief on Sonia Gandhi and Opposition seeking Raja ouster on 2G spectrum controversy.

The BJP top leaders decided late last night, to not let Parliament function till the Telecom Minister is sacked for his role in the multi crore 2G spectrum scam.

The BJP and AIADMK have submitted notices for a joint parliamentary committee probe into 2G, CWG and the Adarsh housing scam.

Both Houses were adjourned on Wednesday, as the Opposition disrupted proceedings. Today is no different.

Sources say the PM is likely to take a decision on whether A Raja will continue on as the Telecom Minister or not, when he returns in a couple of days from the G-20 summit in Seoul.

The Congress, pushed to a corner by the Opposition yesterday in Parliament, has already put the onus on its ally DMK for not acting against A Raja.

When it decided to sack Ashok Chavan as Maharashtra Chief Minister, the Congress had probably hoped it will take the wind out of the Opposition sails. But what it did not bargain for is that Chavan sacking will end up giving more ammunition to the Opposition oust Raja campaign.

The Opposition argument is, if Ashok Chavan can be sacked for his alleged involvement in the Adarsh Society scam, then why not A Raja, whose role in the much bigger 2G spectrum scam has now been reportedly indicted by a CAG report, which is expected to be tabled in Parliament next week.
